Six typical problems
on Xiaomi scooters.

Battery degradation
After 800–1200 charge cycles (1–2 seasons of intensive use) capacity drops below 70%. Range becomes dramatically shorter.
Display BMS error
Display shows error code (E1, E5, E7) or scooter won't power on. Most often a communication problem between BMS and controller.
Front brake
Mechanical front brake stretches after ~1500 km, cable frays. Brake loses effectiveness. Cable replacement + adjustment.
Tire flat
Pneumatic tires (especially Mi Pro and newer) prone to flats. Tube replacement or patch. We also stock more durable tubeless versions.
Controller MOSFET
During intensive uphill riding the MOSFET transistors in the controller can burn. Symptom: scooter loses power or stops responding to throttle.
Folding mechanism
After hundreds of folds, play develops in the main hinge. Visually a small wobble, safety-critical concern. Latch replacement or full hinge swap.
