Six typical problems
on Sencor scooters.
Sencor uses Chinese components with smaller margins. That means the same things fail for most owners at roughly the same time. Here's the top 6.
Controller MOSFET
MOSFET transistors in Sencor controllers don't have enough thermal headroom. After a steep climb or aggressive ride with a heavier rider they can burn. Result: motor doesn't spin, display OK.
Battery degradation
Sencor batteries use lower-quality cells — capacity drops faster than Xiaomi. After 600-800 cycles (often by the second winter) range is half of original.
Plastic deck
Folding mechanism and part of the deck is plastic. Potholes or heavier riders can crack it, especially on R-series. Solution: reinforcement or full deck replacement.
Brake pads
Original Sencor pads are soft and rust in damp weather. Need replacing every season. We offer upgrade to higher-quality OEM pads that last 2x longer.
Charging port
DC jack loosens after hundreds of plug-ins. Scooter stops charging or only charges in a specific cable position. Replace the DC jack — quick fix.
Throttle hall sensor
Throttle (hall sensor inside) suffers from moisture and vibration. Gradually loses response — throttle skips or doesn't react across full range. Full throttle module swap.
